My art studio has been in 8 different locations - some nicer than others lol. I think that every artist longs for the large airy light filled studio of their dreams, but reality sometimes dictates just where and how we create art.
Locations:
Kitchen table in Topsham home
Bedroom in Topsham home
Spare Bedroom in Bowdoinham home
Basement in Bowdoinham home
Spare Bedroom in Caribou (with great big closet)
Spare bedroom in Argyle (about the size of said closet above)
Basement in Bowdoin
Spare bedroom in Bowdoin (where I sit presently, typing this)
A true artist creates wherever they can, tables, cafes, the couch, small closet, outside, on a train etc...
It really does not matter where you create, as long as you - dear Artist, CREATE!
The world needs your art.
*I did procure a she shed for future arting, but its not heated so it will be seasonal :) however it still doesn't feel big enough lol.
